The casino
Russian Roulette, Blackjack, Guess a Number and the Lottery, each on its own tab in the Gambling menu.
The bets
- Smallest
- £100
- Biggest
- An hour of what your crimes pay at your rank. It goes up as you do.
Russian Roulette
Six chambers and one round, and no stake to pick. A pull costs an hour of what your crimes pay at your rank, and an empty chamber pays 70 times that at rank 10. The prize climbs faster than your crimes do, every rank, to 201 times a pull at rank 60. Bang and your character is dead, for good, the same as being killed. There is no wait between pulls. It asks you first, every time.
Blackjack
Six decks, shuffled every hand. Blackjack pays 3 to 2 and the dealer draws to 16 and stands on all 17. You can hit, stand, or double on your first two cards. What it gives back depends on how you play it, which is true of nothing else in here.
Guess a Number
Tick between one and 9 numbers from 1 to 10 and one is drawn. Back one and it pays 9.5 times your stake, and the more you back the less it pays, so it gives back the same whichever way you play it.
The Lottery
4 running at once, each drawn after an hour. The more tickets you hold the better your chance, and whoever is drawn gets the whole pot in their bank.
The thing worth knowing
The casino is not an earner. Crimes are.
Every other way of making money in this game is measured against what crimes pay and set BELOW it on purpose. The casino is the one place where the house keeps a cut by design and the only question is how fast. It is there to spend money on, not to make it.
